Sponsored by George and Christine Sosnovsky.

Each performer will present individual lecture/demonstrations on Saturday morning beginning at 10:30, at the same location. These free presentations will explore the musical possibilities of the chalumeau as it evolved through the basset horn into the clarinet (Hoeprich), the development of the harpsichord and fortepiano to the modern piano and how interpretation is influenced by the instrument (Schenkman) and the evolution of song in chamber music from the harpsichord era into the fortepiano era (Rottsolk).
Ms. Rottsolk may have time to include coaching of one or two singers in her presentation. If you have appropriate repertoire prepared, please request consideration when you make your workshop reservation.
There is no charge for these lecture/demonstrations, however pre-registration is requested. Please provide your name, choice of lecture, and contact information by email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone to 414.225.3113.
