A Medieval scholar, Andrew will discuss the roles of women in Medieval society, and the life experiences of everyday people in Medieval Europe. Also explored is the role of everyday women in marriage and courtly love.
Dr. Andrew Larsen earned a doctorate in Medieval History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1998 and has been teaching at universities in southern Wisconsin, including Marquette University and UW-Milwaukee. He specializes in English history, Medieval religion, and the history of Medieval universities. He is the author of The School of Heretics: Academic Condemnation at the University of Oxford, 1277-1409.
