D – Les Délices

“Myths & Allegories”
February 8 at 5:00
UWM Zelazo Center (2419 E. Kenwood Blvd.)

Dramatic depictions of tales from Homer’s Odyssey are woven together with instrumental and vocal chamber music inspired by Greek mythology, featuring cantatas by Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre and Thomas-Louis Bourgeois.  This concert is preceded at 3:00 by our annual Silent Auction and complimentary Chocolate Reception.

The approximate length of this concert is 2 hours, including a 30-minute intermission to allow for final silent auction bidding.  Parking is available in the UWM structure, on the street, and in the metered lot behind the building.  This venue is also very near the Gold, Red, and 30/30X bus lines.
